Whether it’s a family heirloom, a vintage find, or simply a rug you love, rugs naturally collect years of dust, soil, and wear. Heavy traffic, furniture, and even occasional pet accidents can dull color and trap odors deep within the fibers.

Since every rug is different, we create custom cleaning plans based on its fibers, dyes, and construction whether it’s wool, silk, sisal, or delicate natural dyes.

So what kind of cleaning does your rug actually need?

The Two Main Types of Rug Cleaning

1. In-Home Rug Cleaning (Maintenance Cleaning)
2. Deep In-Plant Rug Cleaning (Deep Cleaning)

1. In-Home Rug Cleaning (Maintenance Cleaning)

If your rug only needs routine maintenance or annual cleaning, we can clean it in your home. This option is convenient and works well for lightly soiled rugs, but it does not provide the same level of deep restoration as our in-plant process.

Best for: light soil and routine care.

A $150 minimum service fee applies.

2. In-Plant Rug Cleaning (Deep Cleaning)

Our in-plant cleaning process provides a deeper and more controlled cleaning than in-home rug cleaning methods. Here we begin with a specialized rug dusting process that removes pounds of dry soil trapped deep within the fibers before the rug is washed. From there, we carefully clean the fringes, thoroughly flush out embedded dirt, stains, and odors, and dry the rug in a controlled drying environment that protects delicate fibers and helps prevent moisture-related issues.

Best for: stubborn odors, heavy soil, or delicate rugs.

Within our in-plant process, we select the safest and most effective method for your rug:

1. Standard front and back rug cleaning – for general deep cleaning
2. Low-moisture cleaning – for delicate or moisture-sensitive rugs
3. Immersion cleaning (tub wash) – for strong odors, pet accidents, or heavy contamination

Rug Pickup, Delivery & Furniture Moving*

You can drop your rug off at our facility or schedule convenient pickup and delivery.

If your rug is under heavy furniture, don’t let that be the reason you choose in-home cleaning. We can assist with moving furniture, remove the rug, and place everything back once the job is complete.

Please remove any breakables before our technicians arrive.

Furniture moving is included with rug pickup and delivery services only.

Rug Pads Matter More Than You Think

Rug pads do more than keep your rug in place, they help protect your floors and extend the life of your rug.

A quality rug pad adds stability, prevents slipping, and reduces wear from everyday use.

Our rug pads are:

2. Spill-resistant to help prevent liquids from reaching your floors
3. Washable, unlike many standard pads
4. Designed to protect against staining or damage underneath

Are Your Rug Pads Washable?

Most rug pads are not washable.

If your rug pad is washable, we can clean it along with your rug to remove dirt, odor, and buildup.

If you’re not sure, it most likely isn’t.

Ask about having your rug pad cleaned or upgrading to a new washable rug pad during your rug cleaning service.

We specialize in deep-cleaning, deodorizing, and preserving delicate rugs, including Persian, wool, silk, and antique styles. 

Our 9-Step In-Plant Rug Cleaning Process

Every rug that comes to our facility goes through a meticulous, multi-step process designed to clean and protect your rug:

1. Pre-Inspection & Pickup
We inspect your rug’s material, condition, and size, then create a custom cleaning plan. You can drop it off or schedule pickup.

2. Dry Soil Removal
We remove deep, embedded dust and debris from both sides—one of the most important steps.

3. Pre-Conditioning
We prepare the rug based on its needs. This may include applying cleaning solutions or an immersion (tub wash) for strong odors, pet accidents, or heavy contamination.

4. Spot & Fringe Treatment
Spots and fringes are treated with specialized solutions.

5. Agitation
We work the solution into the fibers to release embedded soil. For delicate rugs, this may be done using low-moisture cleaning methods.

6. Rinsing & Flushing
For rugs cleaned with water, soils and residues are thoroughly rinsed and removed. (Skipped for low-moisture cleaning.)

7. Controlled Drying
Rugs are spun and dried in a controlled environment to prevent shrinkage, dye migration, or damage.

8. Grooming
Fibers are brushed and reset to restore the rug’s appearance.

9. Final Inspection & Wrapping
We complete a final quality check, then wrap your rug for pickup or delivery.
